Angie Charipar currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Cedar Rapids, a position held since March 2013. Prior roles within the City of Cedar Rapids from 2009 to 2013 include serving as the Assistant to the City Manager and Legislative Liaison. Previous experience includes working as the PAC-Grassroots Manager at AEGON and as a District Scheduler for the US House of Representatives from January 1996 to November 2006. Angie Charipar earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Iowa between 1997 and 2000.
