Thomas Rees

Thomas Rees has over a decade of experience in urban and community planning, currently serving as a Senior Planner in Community Planning and Transportation Planning for the City of Toronto since January 2011. Previously, Thomas held the position of Community Planner at the City of Toronto and served as a Facility Coordinator with Ryerson Planning Alumni from September 2004 to December 2012. Thomas began a career as a Planner with The Biglieri Group Ltd. from January 2005 to January 2011, focusing on planning, development, and project management consulting. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in ESG, Climate Change and the Law from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, obtained in January 2022, and a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University, completed in June 2002.
