Amanda Valenzuela

Amanda Valenzuela has extensive experience in marketing and public relations, currently serving as a Public Information Coordinator for the City of Tucson since December 2020. Prior to this role, Amanda worked at Sun Tran as a Marketing and Communications Specialist from June 2017 to December 2020, and at Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, P.C. from February 2010 to March 2017, where Amanda held the position of Marketing Manager. At Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, Amanda was responsible for overseeing marketing activities for multiple clinic locations and physicians, managing advertising purchases, collaborating on public relations efforts, leading a website redesign, and implementing a social media content calendar. Amanda began the marketing career as a Marketing Specialist, where responsibilities included crafting marketing materials and event planning. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management, earned between 2005 and 2009.
