Koren Manning

Koren Manning serves as the Deputy Director of Planning and Development Services for the City of Tucson, a role that includes leading Long-Range Planning, Communications, and Customer Service teams since August 2018. Previously, Koren held the position of Planning Administrator, overseeing an 18-member team focused on citywide and neighborhood planning. Prior experience includes serving as City Planner and Team Leader for the NYC Department of City Planning, where Koren managed the East New York Community Plan. Additionally, Koren has consulted on various projects and held event management roles at prominent organizations, such as Columbia University and Lambda Legal. Koren holds a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Geography, Women's Studies, and Spanish from the University of Arizona.
