Robert Rappaport

Robert Rappaport serves as the Public Information Coordinator for the City of Tucson since October 2012, overseeing website content management, public information dissemination, and community engagement initiatives. Rappaport has extensive experience in journalism as a freelance news reporter from January 1995 to September 2012, contributing to notable organizations like Tucson Weekly and NPR. Prior to the current role, Rappaport worked as an Online Content Director and held various positions including content producer at Arizona Public Media and voiceover talent for Mars HiRISE at The University of Arizona. Rappaport's career in broadcasting began in the late 1980s with responsibilities in studio management and newscast anchoring. Rappaport holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from the University of Arizona.
