James Governale has extensive experience in administrative and community-focused roles, currently serving as an Executive Administrative Assistant and Recreation Coordinator for the City of Turlock since February 2020. Prior to this, James held the position of Youth Director at Our Lady of the Assumption from July 2016 to February 2020, and served as a Community Outreach Specialist at the Turlock Chamber of Commerce from October 2015 to June 2016, where responsibilities included event coordination and attending committee meetings. Additionally, James was the Director of Communications for the Turlock Downtown Property Owners' Association from January 2015 to October 2015, focusing on communication with downtown business owners. James earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Stanislaus, in 2015.
