Jeremy Veramendi

Municipal Services Intern at City of Turlock

Jeremy Veramendi is an Environmental Engineering student at the University of California, Merced, set to graduate in May 2024. Currently serving as a Municipal Services Intern with the City of Turlock since October 2024, Jeremy focuses on writing technical reports about water quality and contributing to water conservation assessments. As the Founder and Radio Host of Divergent College Vibes Podcast Inc. since October 2019, Jeremy engages in discussions that impact college students. Additional experience includes being a Vice President for Children of the Andes and a TEDxUCM Speaker Committee Member, where evaluation of speaker proposals on critical topics takes place. Previous roles include Poll Worker for Merced County Elections and a Student Organizing Intern at AFSCME Local 3299. Jeremy’s involvement in SHPE UC Merced has contributed to skill development among engineering students.
