Lua Kennedy

Lua Kennedy, P.E., M.S. is a seasoned civil engineer with a diverse background in both consulting and municipal engineering roles. Currently serving as a Consultant Manager at the Alabama Department of Transportation since May 2024, Lua also holds a position as a Civil Engineer at the City of Tuscaloosa. Prior experience includes roles as Project Engineer at TTL, Inc., and various engineering positions at the City of Tuscaloosa. Lua's internship experiences include substantial projects at FRITO LAY and Columbia University, focused on wastewater treatment and quality improvements. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Alabama and extensive research experience in environmental engineering.
