Sarah Bridger Gilmore serves as the Public Relations and External Affairs Manager for the City of Tuscaloosa since September 2019, previously holding the role of Communications Specialist. Prior experience includes serving as a Communications Specialist at The University of Alabama, where responsibilities included managing social media content, email newsletters, and various campaigns, as well as graphic design and student career services. Sarah's earlier roles include Marketing Associate at Orangewood Foundation, contributing to social media fundraising campaigns and organizational rebranding, and Communications - AmeriCorps Vista at Habitat for Humanity Wake County, focusing on communication strategies and media relations. An internship at Duke University Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research provided initial experience in the field. Sarah holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Policy and Management from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
