Nick Crampton currently serves as the Director of Digital Services & Customer Experience at the City of Vancouver. Prior to this role, Nick was a Partner in Experience Design & Strategy at Simply Designed Services and held the position of Head of Experience Strategy at Silicon Valley Bank. At Silicon Valley Bank, Nick established the Experience Strategy team, led strategic initiatives, and fostered a design community. Nick's prior experience includes serving as the Director of Data Experience Design at Capital One, where responsibilities included developing an enterprise-wide platform and leading a team of 25 designers. Additional roles span from Manager at Adaptive Path to various design and instructional positions at Usability Matters, Bruce Mau Design, George Brown College, and the Institute Without Boundaries. Nick holds an Interdisciplinary Design Strategy degree from the Institute Without Boundaries and an Honours Bachelor of Information Technology from Carleton University.
