Dave MacKenzie

Dave MacKenzie is an experienced educator and consultant with a diverse background in training, program development, and leadership within both educational and non-profit sectors. Currently a teacher at the Vancouver School Board and a trainer and business analyst for the City of Vancouver, Dave has extensive experience in curriculum design and training facilitation on topics such as technology training and emergency management. As an independent consultant since 2000, impactful sessions have included customer service and emergency preparedness, primarily serving government and non-profit organizations. Previous roles include Director of Camps at the Canadian Cancer Society, where Dave led programs for families affected by childhood cancer, and various leadership positions in school-age care and sports services. Dave holds a Graduate Diploma in Education from Simon Fraser University, alongside a Bachelor of Education from The University of British Columbia and a BA in Communication from Simon Fraser University.
