Lenny Zhou currently serves as a Board Director for Metro Vancouver and as a Vancouver City Councillor, positions held since November 2022. Previously, Lenny was a Senior Manager of Operations Engineering at the Provincial Health Services Authority from November 2013 to November 2022, where oversight included projects across various health continuums, contributing to the recognition of BC Children’s Hospital as one of the best hospitals globally in 2019. Lenny’s earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Operations Engineer at Fraser Health Authority, focusing on system analysis and performance improvement, and leading a range of analytic projects. In 2007, Lenny worked as a Project Lead at Intrawest, conducting a staff scheduling study that identified significant cost-saving opportunities. Lenny holds a Master of Management in Operations Research from The University of British Columbia and a Leading for Engagement Certificate from Fraser Health.
