Brianne Lorenz

Brianne Lorenz currently serves as the Special Events & Marketing Coordinator for the City of Venice, Florida, responsible for developing public policies for special events, managing a $4 million budget, and overseeing the issuance of over 50 event permits annually. Prior to this role, Brianne worked as a Media Relations Officer and Communications Specialist for Sarasota County Government, where responsibilities included preparing subject matter experts for media interactions and developing a comprehensive branding guide. Earlier experience includes a position as a Seasonal Beach Lifeguard and as a Recreational Training Advisor at Cave Country Dive Shop. Brianne holds a Master of Science in Professional Writing from New York University and a Master of Emergency & Crisis Management from the University of Central Florida.
