Johnnie Edwards is an experienced law enforcement professional with over two decades in the Vicksburg Police Department, serving as Captain and Internal Affairs Commander since March 2000. In addition to these roles, Johnnie Edwards has held the title of Police Captain with the City of Vicksburg, MS. Academic credentials include a Master of Liberal Arts in Criminal Justice from Alcorn State University, obtained between August 2017 and May 2021, along with education from Hinds Community College.
