Darrek Ferrell

Darrek Ferrell, ICMA-CM, is an experienced municipal management professional currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Victoria, TX since January 2020. Previous roles include City Manager for the City of Commerce, TX, City Administrator and Economic Development Corporation Director for the City of Mount Vernon, and Assistant to the City Manager in McKinney. Ferrell began a career in public administration with a budget analyst role in San Antonio and has held various positions in education and program management, including teaching and developing programs for workforce solutions. Ferrell holds a Master of Public Service and Administration in State and Local Government and Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from Texas A&M University.
