Kayla Woody

Kayla Woody, MBA, SHRM-CP, currently serves as an HR Business Partner II for the City of Virginia Beach, starting in September 2024. Prior to this role, Kayla was a Regional Human Resources Business Partner at NS BlueScope, where support was provided to over 150 employees across multiple manufacturing plants, along with leading the deployment of Workday. Kayla also held positions as Human Resources Manager at Philip J. Boren, Inc., and Human Resources Supervisor at Frontier Door & Cabinet, overseeing HR functions and managing teams across several locations. Earlier experience includes roles at CityMD and IRG Physical & Hand Therapy, focusing on employee lifecycle management and compliance. Kayla holds an MBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Regent University and a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration from Old Dominion University.
