Vicki Coles FGIA currently serves as Executive Manager Governance and Legal at the City of Wanneroo since August 2023. Prior to this role, Vicki worked as a Governance Specialist at the WA Local Government Association from October 2022 to August 2023. From March 2017 to October 2022, Vicki was the Manager Risk at The Law Society of Western Australia & Law Mutual (WA), providing governance and risk management advice to legal practitioners, while also maintaining the Professional Standards Scheme. Earlier experience includes serving as a Governance & Risk Advisor for the City of Bayswater and the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley from March 2013 to March 2017, and as a Family Law, Corporate Governance & Risk Lawyer for various law firms from September 2004 to February 2013. Vicki's educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance & Risk Management and a Certificate in Governance & Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia, a Legal Practice degree from The College of Law Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The University of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Hons from Aberystwyth University.
