Thom Moton

Thom Moton, Jr., ICMA-CM, currently serves as Deputy City Manager for the City of Wilmington, NC, beginning in April 2018. Previously, Thom held the position of Assistant City Manager for the City of Rocky Mount from September 2014 to March 2018, and City Manager for the City of Broken Arrow from November 2012 to August 2014. Additionally, Thom experienced roles as Assistant City Manager and Interim City Manager for the City of Greenville and Assistant City Manager for the City of University City. Earlier in the career, Thom served as Ellis County Center Assistant Dean for Navarro Community College District and Assistant City Manager for the City of Corsicana, as well as Management Analyst/Trainer for the Dallas County Juvenile Department.
