Andrew Lynch, AICP, is an experienced city planner currently serving as the Assistant City Planner for the City of Wausau since May 2022, overseeing a variety of projects and committees. Prior to this role, Andrew was a Transportation Planner with the Wausau Metropolitan Planning Organization from June 2015 to May 2022, where the focus was on bicycling, pedestrian, and transit planning. Additional experience includes working as a Research Assistant under Dr. Scott Spak at the University of Iowa on a NASA grant related to satellite air quality data, serving as a Transportation Planning Intern with the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, and being a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Geography at the University of Iowa. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning with a specialization in transportation and land use and environmental planning, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Iowa.
