Dustin Deel

Dustin Deel, MBA, has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within different organizations. Dustin began their career as a Business Systems Analyst for the City of Weatherford in 2006, where they were responsible for managing and implementing technology infrastructure and systems. During their time there, they also served as a Technical Services Manager and Assistant Director of Information Technology, where they formulated and deployed strategic plans and took on additional responsibilities in the absence of the IT director. In 2012, they temporarily restructured and turned around the failing Animal Services department as the Assistant Director. Dustin then served as the Assistant Director of Municipal and Community Services before becoming the Director of Animal Services and eventually the Director of Municipal and Community Services, overseeing various departments and managing a budget of $7M. Prior to their work with the City of Weatherford, Deel served as a Network Administrator for Comfort Experts and the City of White Settlement. Deel's experience showcases their strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams and budgets.

Dustin Deel earned their Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, graduating in 2008. In 2011, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business, specializing in Business.

Additionally, in 2003, Dustin received a certification in Network Administration from the American Technology Institute (ATI). In 2010, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Dustin also pursued international education in 2010, studying entrepreneurship and innovation abroad in France at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

Throughout their career, Dustin has continued to expand their knowledge and expertise by obtaining several additional certifications. In 2019, they obtained an Extended DISC Certification from Extended DISC® powered by FinxS®. In 2020, they achieved certification in Integrated Solid Waste Management Systems from The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA). Most recently, in 2022, they obtained a certification in Composting Programs, also from SWANA.
