Mark Paine

Mark Paine has served as the Director of Parks & Recreation for the City of West Haven since February 1995, overseeing various functions including public building maintenance and budget management. Additional roles within the city include membership on the 401K Pension Committee and as Chief Steward for Local CWA-1103. Prior to this, Mark held positions as Assistant to the Commissioner of Public Works and as a Pool & Waterfront Coordinator and Recreation Coordinator at West Haven High School. Mark's experience also includes coaching baseball at Southern Connecticut State University from January 1991 to February 1995. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Southern Connecticut State University between 1984 and 1990.
