Cmama Lauren Breithaupt

Lauren Breithaupt, CPA CMA CGMA has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and organizations. Lauren began their career as a Facility Supervisor at Associated Students, Inc.-Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2008. Lauren then moved on to Talbot, Korvola & Warwick LLP, working as a Staff Accountant and later as a Senior Accountant. In 2011, they joined the City of West Linn as an Accounting Manager and later became the Assistant Finance Director, where they assisted the CFO in managing finance, municipal court, budget, accounting, and risk management functions. Lauren also acted as the interim CFO during their absence. Since 2017, they have been serving as the Finance Director for the City of West Linn, overseeing the general operations of finance while supervising the staff. In 2014, they took on the role of Finance Director (on contract) for the City of Damascus. Throughout their career, they have shown expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.

Lauren Breithaupt, CPA CMA CGMA, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Agricultural Finance/Appraisal from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in the years 2004 to 2009.

In addition, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In February 2011, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the AICPA. In July 2012, they obtained the Municipal Auditor certification from the Oregon Board of Accountancy.

By November 2013, they obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from CIMA. In December 2015, they acquired the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.

More recently, in June 2022, they completed the Northwest Women's Leadership Academy - Fourth Cohort from the Oregon City/County Management Association. It is noteworthy that they also hold a Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) Certification, although specific details regarding its obtained month and year are not provided.
