Doug Drozd currently serves as the Government Affairs Manager for the City of West Sacramento since April 2019, along with the role of Deputy to Mayor Christopher Cabaldon. Prior experience includes positions as Chief of Board Management and Special Assistant to the Board Chair at the California High-Speed Rail Authority from February 2012 to April 2019, and Special Assistant for Public Affairs at the State of California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency from July 2011 to February 2012. Doug Drozd also worked as a Staff Assistant in the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. in early 2011, and as a Field Organizer for Zack Space's congressional campaign in mid-2010. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from Claremont McKenna College (2006-2010) and currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration at California State University-Sacramento (2022-2025).
