Austin Bishop, MPA, currently serves as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of West University Place since May 2023, following a role as a Management Analyst for the City of Sugar Land from June 2021 to May 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University's Bush School of Government and Public Service from August 2019 to May 2021 and a Policy Analyst at 3rd Millennium Classrooms during the summer of 2020, where notable contributions included networking with healthcare professionals and receiving recognition from the CEO. Additional experience includes a position in Central Magistrate Operations for Bexar County and a supervisory role at Sky Zone Franchise Group from 2011 to 2017. Austin Bishop holds a Master of Public Service and Administration from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of North Georgia.
