Arun Sundaram

Arun Sundaram is a Health and Safety Advisor with extensive experience in environmental health, safety, and continuous improvement. Currently employed by the City of White Rock since July 2023, Arun previously held multiple roles at StandardAero from April 2015 to July 2023, including Manager of EHS, Security & Facilities, and Specialist in Environmental, Health & Safety. Prior experience includes working as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Vector Aerospace, where contributions involved repair and modification of rotary wing aircraft, and by promoting LEAN methodologies within the Structures department. Arun began the career as an apprentice at Harbour Air Seaplanes and West Coast Air. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from the University of New Brunswick and a Lean Green Belt from Lean Sensei International, alongside a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
