Daniel Dunn is an experienced public safety professional serving as Deputy Fire Chief and Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Wildwood since September 1999. In this role, Daniel has managed three presidentially declared disasters and successfully coordinated the city's first full evacuation in over 25 years during Hurricane Irene in 2011 and Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Additionally, Daniel holds the position of Safety Coordinator, overseeing the safety and risk management program for the city. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a part-time fire inspector and later as Fire Official for the Borough of Wildwood Crest from June 2003 until June 2022. With a career spanning over 14 years as a firefighter, Daniel Dunn has established a strong foundation in emergency response and management.
