Steven Brown is an accomplished city manager with extensive experience in public administration and local governance. Currently serving as the City Manager for the City of Wixom since April 2017, Steven oversees daily operations in a community with an estimated population of 17,200. Previously, Steven held the city manager position in Mount Clemens, where effective leadership navigated the city through financial challenges to stability. Career highlights include various roles at the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation, developing community relations as the Oakland County Ombudsperson, and serving in multiple positions within the Charter County of Wayne and the City of Lincoln Park, where Steven was elected Mayor. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Kalamazoo College.
