Renae' Ollie is an experienced urban planning professional currently serving as Deputy City Manager and Director of Development Services for the City of Wylie, Texas, since March 2013. In this role, Renae' leads the implementation of the City’s Master Plan Policies through Comprehensive and Neighborhood Planning Programs while overseeing Planning and Zoning, Building Inspections, and Code Enforcement. Prior to this, Renae' worked as Planning Director for the City of Wylie since August 2004, managing private development requests and conducting various analyses and policy formulation. Renae' holds a Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from Prairie View A&M University.

The Mayor and Council are elected at-large, which means they represent the entire city and all registered voters may vote for all seven places. Following each election, the Council selects a fellow Council member to serve as Mayor ProTem.
