Melody Hardcastle

Melody Hardcastle is an experienced Project Manager at City of York Council, leading the ESF Employment Hub Programme that aids young people aged 15-24 in securing appropriate progression opportunities such as apprenticeships and further education. Previously, Melody served as Skills Officer focusing on promoting apprenticeship training, which has become more accessible for employers under new funding reforms. As a Project Support Assistant at the York Apprenticeship Hub, Melody provided guidance to schools and employers on recruiting apprentices and utilizing apprenticeship programs. Prior experience includes working as an Administration Assistant at the University of York and as a Marketing Assistant at City of York Council, where Melody executed a multimedia campaign to highlight the benefits of apprenticeships. Educational qualifications include a BTEC Extended National Diploma in Print Based Media, an Advanced Apprenticeship in Marketing, and an A Level in English Language.
