Michael Mcgean

Michael McGean is the Chief Academic Officer at City on a Hill Charter Public School. Prior to this role, Michael served as the Director of Teacher Development & Compliance at the same school. Previously, Michael was a Principal Intern at Waltham Public Schools, a High School Mathematics Teacher and Varsity Swimming Coach at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and a Math Teacher at Teach For America. Michael holds a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Graduate Certificate in Teaching (9-12 Mathematics) from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Middlebury College.
