Hilke Marit Berger

Hilke Marit Berger is a professional with extensive experience in scientific leadership and editing, currently serving as the Scientific Lead at City Science Lab since 2020. Previously, Berger held positions as an Editor at Fonds Darstellende Künste e.V. from 2021 to 2022, a Referentin for Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg from 2018 to 2020, and a Senior Research Associate at HafenCity Universität Hamburg (HCU) from 2011 to September 2018. Early career experience includes a Volontariat at HAU Hebbel am Ufer from 2006 to 2007. Berger holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Kulturwissenschaften and Urban Studies from HafenCity Universität Hamburg (HCU) and a Magister in Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaften, Theaterwissenschaft from Leipzig University.
