Damon Turney

Damon Turney, PhD, is a Senior Scientist in the Chemical Engineering Department at City University of New York, focusing on advanced chemical engineering and modeling for Ni/Zn and MnO2/Zn batteries, as well as carbon efficiency and recycling. Prior experiences include working as a Solar Energy Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory, where Damon engaged in chemical recycling processes for solar panel waste, and as a Research Scientist at UC Santa Barbara, providing engineering support for a NASA-funded methane detection project.
