Alexandrea Gayda

Alexandrea Gayda is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and grants administration, primarily with City Year since August 2009. Currently serving as Senior Director of AmeriCorps Program Management, Alexandrea oversees federal funding and the administration of AmeriCorps grants for 29 City Year sites. Previous roles at City Year include Senior Manager of AmeriCorps Grants, Government Relations Manager, and Program Operations Manager, focusing on compliance and operational functions for service corps. Early career experiences include positions at New Leaders Council, Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, KPCC, and City of Hope. Alexandrea holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Public Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Southern California, complemented by studies in Peace Studies at the School for International Training.
