Larry Sedgwick

Larry Sedgwick currently serves as the Director of Operations in the Office of the Chief Operating Officer at City Year, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Larry was the Dean of Operations at Freedom Preparatory Academy Charter Schools and has experience in various capacities at City Year, including Special Projects Manager and Impact Manager. Larry has also held leadership positions at Memphis Youth Symphony Program, where strategic planning efforts were focused, and at Memphis Delta Preparatory Charter School Inc., managing operations for a significant student population. Larry's earlier roles at City Year include Team Leader and AmeriCorps Member, where a strong emphasis was placed on academic support and social emotional learning. Larry’s educational background includes attendance at Bethel University of Tennessee.
