Sean McDevitt

Sean McDevitt currently serves as the National Senior Director of Career Development at City Year, a position held since January 2003. In this role, Sean leads a national college and career pathways strategy, supporting 2,000 AmeriCorps members. Previously, as Senior Director of Alumni & Career Services, Sean formalized a career services program and expanded university partnerships significantly, generating over $3 million in annual scholarships for alumni. Sean's earlier roles at City Year include National Alumni Director, where engagement strategies were enhanced, resulting in a 500% increase in alumni involvement over five years. Sean is an AmeriCorps alumnus and holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Boston University and a B.A. in English Literature from La Salle University.
