Yaphet Morales

Yaphet Morales, MBA, is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in leadership and crisis management. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and previously as Service and Learning Director and Senior Impact Manager at City Year since October 2018, Yaphet has a significant background in the U.S. Coast Guard, holding the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade and previously serving as an Ensign and Boatswain's Mate First Class. Additional experience includes roles as a Bilingual Special Education Teacher with Milwaukee Public Schools and as a Crisis Provider and Crisis Stabilizer at Running Rebels Community Organization and La Causa, Inc., respectively, where responsibilities included evaluating and supporting youth in crisis. Yaphet also has early career experience as an Office Clerk at the United States Attorneys' Offices and as a Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, and CPR Instructor with Milwaukee Recreation. Yaphet holds an MBA from Saint Leo University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
