Steven Spencer

Steven Spencer is the Deputy Chief Health Officer at Cityblock Health. Steven has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Previously, they served as the Medical Director of Population Health for Jefferson Medical Group. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the health of the population and improving outcomes.

In March 2021, they joined Onslow Memorial Hospital as the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the overall quality of care and patient safety. Steven is also responsible for leading the medical staff and working with the Board of Trustees to ensure that the hospital is providing the best possible care for its patients.

Steven Spencer has a Masters in public health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Master of Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, and a Doctor of Medicine from Brown Medical School. Steven also has a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Brown University and a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Steven is certified by the American College of Physicians and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
