Timothy Bird

Timothy Bird has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Timothy currently holds the position of Principal Enterprise Architect at CityFibre, where they started in April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the IT Architecture & Design Manager and Development and Application Support Manager at the same company, starting in May 2021 and September 2019 respectively.

Before their time at CityFibre, Timothy worked at Claranet as the Head of Group Information Systems from July 2014 to September 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team in the design and implementation of business systems for the Claranet Group.

Prior to Claranet, Timothy was the Director of Production Infrastructure & Services at Trace One from January 2012 to December 2013. Timothy played a key role in consolidating hosted solutions and improving IT solutions and architecture.

Earlier in their career, Timothy worked at Agentrics as the Head of Development PLM, Development Manager, and Senior Developer/Team Leader. During their time at Agentrics, they focused on improving the stability and resilience of the core product and leading a team of developers.

Timothy also gained experience in technical support roles at Tesco PLC and Gap Inc.

Timothy Bird attended Christian Brothers College from 1997 to 1998 and Plumtree High School from 1993 to 1996. In addition, they obtained certifications in Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance and ITIL v3 Foundation from APMG-International in 2014.
