Cathal O'Connell

Cathal O'Connell has a long and diverse work experience spanning from 1980 to 2015. Cathal started their career at Aer Lingus, where they held various roles in the IT department. Cathal then joined Aer Arann as their Commercial Director before moving on to become the Director of Strategy at Eastern Airways. Cathal later returned to Aer Arann as the Head of Network Planning & Revenue Management. Cathal then worked at bmi regional, where they served as the Chief Commercial Officer and later became the Chief Executive. Their most recent role was at CityJet, where they held the position of Chief Commercial Officer.

Cathal O'Connell obtained their Advanced Computer Studies degree in Computing from Trinity College Dublin, which they pursued from 1983 to 1985. Later, they attended Henley Business School, where they pursued an MBA degree in Strategic Change & Business Transformation from 1997 to 2000.
