Xavier Ibars

Xavier Ibars has a diverse work experience across multiple companies. Xavier currently holds the position of Director de Operaciones de Productos Voluminosos at CITYlogin Iberia since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at DB Schenker as the Terminals and Collection & Distribution Manager for the Iberia East Area from January 2022 to March 2023, and as the Collection & Distribution Manager for the same region from March 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining DB Schenker, Xavier worked at IKEA Group for a significant portion of their career. Xavier held various roles such as Operations Developer from August 2017 to March 2021, Operations Support and Projects Coordinator from April 2014 to July 2017, Maintenance, H&S and Security Manager from December 2010 to March 2014, and H&S and Security Manager for IKEA Badalona from June 2005 to November 2010.

Xavier Ibars completed their Master's degree in Supply Chain Management from Fundación ICIL in 2016. Prior to this, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Industrial Maintenance from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2011 to 2012, specializing in Engineering. Additionally, Xavier graduated from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Prevention and Integral Security.
