Bruno Salerno

Bruno Salerno is a Tech Lead - Realtime Transport Data at Citymapper since September 2021. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineer - Realtime Transport Data at Citymapper from September 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Citymapper, Bruno worked at Properati as a Geospatial and Full-Stack Developer from July 2014 to October 2019. Bruno was responsible for the geospatial features of the web platform, as well as data curation and visualization. Prior to that, Bruno worked as a Web Developer at Wagaduu! from November 2013 to July 2014, where they worked on various front-end and back-end projects. Bruno's work experience also includes being a Research Scholar at CONICET from April 2010 to November 2013, where they focused on the study of mobility in informal settlements.

Bruno Salerno holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Transport and Geoinformation Technology, which they obtained from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2018 and 2020. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Buenos Aires, earning a Licentiate degree in Geography from 2004 to 2010. Bruno's secondary education took place at Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, where they obtained their high school diploma as a Bachiller from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Bruno has also obtained an IELTS certification from the British Council, with an overall band score of 8/9 in April 2016.
