Asim Ghaffar has a diverse work experience span across various companies and roles. Asim started their career at smittskyddsinstitutet as a Student Researcher in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the International Islamic University, Islamabad. Later that year, they joined CUES as a Project Manager, where they assumed roles such as System Analyst, Architect, and Lead Developer. In 2009, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks, where they provided technical support and developed workflows. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Technical Program Manager and Project Manager at LMKR, managing teams and responsible for products and R&D. In 2012, they became a Software Development Manager at LMKR. Asim also worked as a Global Manager, R&D and Vice President R&D (Software Engineering) at LMKR. In 2016, they worked as a Management Consultant at Red Buffer, specializing in data science. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Director of Engineering at Zameen.com, managing critical products and teams. In 2021, they co-founded EasyFresh Technologies and served as the CTO, leading software development, and releasing multiple mobile and web apps. In 2022, they worked as an ICT Sector Expert at Chemonics International and as a Vice President of Engineering & Innovation at Cityscape Technology Corporation.

Asim Ghaffar holds a Master of Science degree in Interactive Systems Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2004-2006. Asim also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer System Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in 1997-2001. Additionally, they completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate in Pre-Engineering from PAF High School in 1995-1997.
