Grégoire Landel

Grégoire Landel is the current CEO at CityTaps. Prior to this, they served as Senior Project Manager at SAUR from May 2012 to May 2014. In this role, they worked directly with the Chief Strategy Officer to optimize operational and commercial activities.

Before their time at SAUR, Landel was with Louis Berger, SAS from July 2005 to February 2008, where they served as Project Director. In this role, they managed water and sanitation works supervision contracts in emergent countries (Liberia, Romania, Poland) under FIDIC or EDF (EU) conditions of contract. Grégoire was also responsible for writing and approving contractual documents, technical documents, RFPs, and letters.

Landel has a long history of working on water and sanitation projects in various countries. Grégoire has extensive experience managing relations with clients, beneficiaries, and contractors; recruiting and managing staff allocation and contracts; and ensuring that projects are profitable. Grégoire is known for their impartiality when interfacing between stakeholders, and their ability to optimise project results in collaboration with donors and international consultants.

Grégoire Landel has a professional engineering degree from Columbia University in environmental engineering. Grégoire also has an MEng from MIT in civil engineering (IT). Additionally, they have a BS Eng. from Princeton University in civil engineering and operations research, as well as a certificate in operations research from Princeton University. Finally, they attended Lexington High School.
