Taylor Gaston Young, MPH, is an experienced professional in veterinary public health and community design. Currently serving as the Research and Grants Manager at Civic Design Center since November 2019, Taylor focuses on the Better Cities for Pets program in partnership with Mars Petcare, emphasizing the creation of healthier communities through strategic research, design, and grant management. Previously, as a Research Fellow at Nashville Civic Design Center, Taylor concentrated on enhancing the quality of life for both humans and animals. Additional experience includes roles as a Rock Climbing Instructor, Veterinary Assistant, and various positions in animal care and educational support. Taylor holds a Master of Public Health in Veterinary Preventive Medicine and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee, along with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Austin Peay State University.
