Alan Dettelbach

Alan Dettelbach is the EVP, Chief Legal Counsel at CIVIC Financial Services. Alan has extensive experience as a corporate lawyer and CEO. Alan began their legal career at TroyGould in Los Angeles. Alan then took a break from their legal practice to serve as the CEO of Mad River Post, a national post-production editing company for broadcast commercials. In 2009, Alan became an independent consultant for Develpment Specialists. Alan later rejoined the legal field as Of Counsel for TroyGould PC. In 2012, Alan became the Chief Legal Officer/General Counsel/Corporate Secretary for Wedgewood. Alan joined CIVIC Financial Services as EVP, Chief Legal Counsel in 2021.

Alan Dettelbach attended the University of Pittsburgh for their undergraduate degree, where they earned a Bachelor of Science. Alan then attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles for their law degree.
