Stephanie King has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Stephanie currently holds the role of Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives for ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge at Civic Nation since July 2022. Before that, they worked as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Civic Nation from January 2020 to June 2022.
Prior to their role at Civic Nation, Stephanie worked at NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Stephanie served as the Director of Civic Engagement and Knowledge Community Initiatives from September 2018 to February 2020. Before that, they held the position of Assistant Director for Civic Engagement, Knowledge Community, and Social Justice Initiatives from April 2018 to September 2018, and as Assistant Director for Knowledge Communities and CLDE Initiatives from March 2015 to April 2018.
Stephanie also gained experience at Chatham University, where they worked as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs and Residence Life from July 2014 to February 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Coordinator of Student Affairs from August 2012 to July 2014 and as the Administrative Assistant to the VP and DOS for the Office of Student Affairs from May 2011 to August 2012.
During their early career, Stephanie held the role of Coordinator of Commuter, Evening, and Weekend Programs at Walsh University from 2009 to 2010.
Stephanie King completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Walsh University between the years 2005 and 2009. Stephanie then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Chatham University, which they attended from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, Stephanie King also obtained a certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from the USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
