Will Bowlin

Community Of Practice Fellow at Civic Nation

Will Bowlin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Will began their career as a Conservation Officer at the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks in January 2002. Will held this position until August 2014. In August 2014, they joined Northeast Mississippi Community College as an Instructor, teaching Government & History. Will continued in this role until 2022. From August 2022 onwards, they became a Community of Practice Fellow, focusing on community colleges, at Civic Nation.

Will Bowlin has an extensive education history. Will completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Community College Leadership from Mississippi State University in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy and Administration from the same university in 2009. Their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science was also earned from Mississippi State University in 2001.

Additionally, Bowlin has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In May 2022, they completed the Community College Policy Fellows Program from the Mississippi Community College Board. In April 2022, they received the Strategic Doing practitioner training certification from the Strategic Doing Institute. Will also completed the Mississippi Community College Leadership Academy, offered by the Mississippi Community College Board, in 2021. Furthermore, they obtained the Apple Teacher certification from Apple in 2018.
