Alexis Raptarchis

Alexis Raptarchis has been working in the software engineering field since 2008. In that year, they began working as a Software Engineer at Bonn University, where they advanced JTransformer, an Eclipse plug-in for custom analyses and transformations of Java source code, and conducted research on StarTransformer, the language-agnostic successor to JTransformer. In 2010, Alexis moved to Capgemini, where they developed a web application designed to support the financial authorities in combating VAT fraud. In 2012, Alexis joined Westernacher Solutions AG as a Solution Consultant - Team Lead - Application Manager, where they led a multinational and geographically separated team of seven developers and set-up and optimized a development process that guaranteed quality, efficiency, and team satisfaction. In 2018, Alexis began working at Amazon as a Software Development Manager and also at Civic Technologies as a Director of Product and Sr. Technical Product Manager.

Alexis Raptarchis obtained a Master of Science (MSc) (Dipl.Inf.) in Computer Science from The University of Bonn between 2000 and 2010. In 2021, Alexis obtained a SAFe Agilist (Leading SAFe) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Additionally, in 2015, Alexis obtained an ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
