Jamie Ragg

Vice President of Software Development at CivicHealth

Jamie Ragg has been an expert in systems management and network solutions for more than 25 years. He has overseen the design, construction, rollout and maintenance of all CivicHealth’s software solutions, and also created the first version of the CivicHealth software platform. As Vice President of Software Development, he is also responsible for the management of internal and customer facing IT related infrastructure.

Mr. Ragg’s tenure with CivicHealth began in 2010 through the acquisition of the CareScope product from Data Futures. It was during his employment with Data Futures that he wrote the first version of the CareScope application. At Data Futures, Mr. Ragg began as a programmer in the early 1990’s and held positions of increasing responsibility. At the time of buyout, he served as CIO of the company, responsible for the creation and delivery of all Data Futures’ technology products. In addition to CareScope, this included the LunchBox product which was installed in 4,400 schools nationwide.

Early in his career, Mr. Ragg was a programmer and network administrator for United Parcel Service. He managed network operations and maintained software programs the shipping giant used to track repair work on electronic equipment at its International Services Service Center. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky.
