Jon Tay

Jon Tay has extensive experience in aviation safety and regulation, currently serving as the Head of Aerodrome Operations Regulation at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore since November 2014. In this role, Jon Tay oversees safety compliance at Changi and Seletar airports, spearheading audits and policy development while implementing digital processes for data management. Prior positions include various managerial roles focused on aerodrome regulation and industry development, as well as experience in the Singapore Armed Forces, where Jon Tay led a Battalion in training exercises and field missions. Jon Tay holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the National University of Singapore, alongside a Diploma in Aviation Safety Management from the Singapore Aviation Academy.
